K1 Technologies produces connecting rods and crankshafts high quality at very affordable prices. Their connecting rods and crankshafts are one step above the common imported connecting rod. They create their own designs and are subject to some of the narrower limits of tolerance allowed in the racing industry, shows more attention to completion than other similar products.
A wide variety of applications are available, ranging from small block compact sports cars to large Chevy and Mopar blocks, including some custom sizes. Its unique connecting rods and crank design, which is the original K1 Techmologies line, reduces weight without sacrificing endurance.
The 4340 steel is used for the manufacture of all its connecting rods and crankshafts. They use ARP 2000 screws as standard screws and 625+ available as an option. Connecting rod head and foot tolerances are +/- 0.0001 "(0.0025mm).
The crankshafts have the hardened core for greater tensile strength and fatigue resistance. The support surfaces are polished and nitrided for greater wear resistance. All crankshafts and connecting rods are 100% inspected for magnetic particles for cracks or defects.
